About National Computer Services

Introduction

National Computer Services (NCS) is the service division of Australia's leading 3rd Party warranty provider, National Warranty Services (NWS), together with other divisions of NWS. NWS is an IT and electronics warranty specialist, offering high quality Australia-wide on-site and other warranties.

National Computer Services provides co-ordinated and managed site installation services, and national roll-outs of PC, POS, network & ADSL infrastructure, on a quoted per site/per machine basis, as well as on-going national service maintenance programs, and ad hoc service and support for hardware or software.

Ad hoc jobs can be requested by using your on-line NCS account which uses the NWS and NCS Job Information & Management System, JIM.

Location

National Computer Services are headquartered with NWS in north Brisbane, but of course provide and manage on-site service throughout Australia with over 3,700 Services Agents.

Branch Strategy.

NCS have a strategy of having no capital city branch structure, but relies on our massively distributed Services Agent structure in most towns in Australia.

Services Provision.

Ad hoc jobs can be requested by using your on-line NCS account which uses the NWS and NCS Job Information & Management System, JIM.

For scheduled installation and maintenance projects, NCS will plan and allocate jobs to the selected Services Agenmts as necessary. You will be able to see and track all individual jobs scheduled and completed.

Services Pricing.

NWC service pricing will be quoted individually for each project, usually as a fixed amount per job, per site or per system or a combination of those. Sometimes where is too dificult to estimate and quote a fixed rate, NCS will quote a fixed T&M rate.

Individual ad hoc jobs will be on the basis of a previously agreed ad hoc T&M Fee Schedule.

Depending on type and scope of each project, for transparency, NCS will provide a fee structure based on these explicit components - a NCS job fee, a NCS priority fee, a Services Agent travel fee, a Services Agent priority fee, and a Services Agent service fee (and, if relevant, any parts at cost +10%).

Services Purchase & Fulfilment.

Apart from ad hoc jobs, all other scheduled service and projects are individually arranged and agreed, and subsequently organised and managed by NCS.

Job & Services Management & Tracking

Ad hoc jobs and jobs scheduled as part of a project or scheduled maintenance program, can be monitored and tracked using the on-line NCS Job Information & Management System, JIM.
